Green Beans Piquante
Green Beans Piquante is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. whole fresh green beans, 1 medium onion, thinly sliced, 1 c. water, 1/2 tsp. salt and 3 slices bacon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

In saucepan, combine green beans, onion, water and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Cook, covered, for 25 minutes or until beans are just tender; drain.
In skillet, cook bacon until crisp; drain.
Reserve 2 tablespoons bacon drippings.
Crumble bacon and set aside. Return drippings to skillet; stir in vinegar, sugar, Worcestershire sauce and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Bring mixture to a boil.
Pour sauce over drained beans in saucepan; sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
Toss lightly to mix.
Cover and return to heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Serve at once.
