Golden Pound Cake
Golden Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. cake flour, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/4 tsp. mace, 1 c. butter or margarine and 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

In medium bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt and mace; set aside.
In large mixer bowl, cream butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add dry ingredients alternately with small amounts of evaporated milk, beating well after each addition.
Pour into greased and floured 10-inch fluted tube pan. Bake in preheated 350Β° oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until wooden skewer comes out clean.
Cool in pan on rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pan.
Dust with sifted powdered sugar.
