Golden Potatoes
Golden Potatoes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 medium potatoes, 1/2 stick butter, 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese, 2 c. sour cream and 1/3 c. green onions, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Boil the potatoes in skins until almost done; chill slightly, then remove skins and grate potatoes into a large bowl.
In medium saucepan, combine 1/2 stick butter and cheese until almost melted. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream, onions, salt and pepper. Pour over potatoes.
Stir lightly and turn into a buttered 2-quart casserole.
Dot with butter and sprinkle with paprika. Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350Β°.
Can be made the day before and then baked.
