Goat Cheese Calzone
Goat Cheese Calzone is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese, 4 oz. goat cheese (feta), 1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese, 4 oz. prosciutto or baked ham, chopped and 1/3 c. fresh chopped parsley, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 400°.
In medium bowl, combine all ingredients, except dough and oil.
Spoon filling onto 1/2 of dough circle within 1 inch of edge.
Moisten edge with water; fold dough over the filling to make edges meet.
Roll edges to seal. Brush dough with olive oil.
Bake for 15 to 18 minutes at 400°. Reduce heat to 375°; bake 10 to 15 minutes more, or until golden brown.
Yields 1 large Calzone, enough for 2 generous portions.
