German Potato Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 c. cooked, sliced, peeled potatoes, 6 bacon strips, 3/4 c. chopped onions, 2 tbsp. flour and 2/3 c. cider vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In a large skillet, fry bacon until crisp; remove; set aside. Cook onion in 3 tablespoons of bacon drippings until done.
Stir in flour, mix well.
Add water and vinegar; cook until slightly thickened.
Add sugar and cook until sugar dissolves.
Crumble bacon and add to mixture with potatoes.
Heat, stirring lightly to coat the potatoes.
Serve warm.
