German Potato Salad
German Potato Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 small red-skinned potatoes, 3 slices bacon, 3/4 c. beef or chicken broth, 1/4 c. cider vinegar and 1 tbsp. cornstarch, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Prick each potato 3 times.
Arrange in a circle in microwave. Microwave on High 14 minutes.
Remove and let stand 5 minutes. While potatoes are cooling, cook bacon on High for 4 1/2 minutes. In a bowl, mix vinegar, cornstarch, sugar, salt, celery seed and pepper.
Stir in onion.
Microwave 8 minutes.
Cut potatoes in 1/2-inch pieces.
Add to broth mixture along with pimentos.
Toss to mix and coat.
Crumble bacon over top.
Serve warm.
Makes 8 servings.
