Fudge Brownie Pie With Real Hot Fudge Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Preheat oven to 325°f. 160°c. gas mark 3. In a double boiler melt the chocolate over 1 of hot, but not simmering water.
Remove chocolate from the heat and cool slightly.
Thoroughly stir together the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the butter and sugar until blended, about 2 minutes.
Beat in the whole egg and the egg yolk, then beat in the vanilla.
Beat for 2-3 minutes until the batter is very light and fluffy and the sugar has dissolved.
Beat in the melted chocolate at low speed.
Stir in the dry ingredients until incorporated.
