Frosia
Frosia is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. fresh basil leaves*, 6 to 8 eggs, 1 1/2 c. italian bread crumbs, 1 handful parmesan cheese and salt and pepper to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Wash and dry basil leaves.
Stack leaves and chop finely. Crack eggs into a bowl and beat with a fork.
Add the basil, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper and stir to mix.
Let set a few minutes and, if mixture appears dry, add 1 or 2 more eggs. Mixture needs to be consistency of heavy pancake batter.
