French Pea Soup is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. green or yellow split peas, 2 onions, chopped, 6 c. water, 4 carrots, sliced and 2 stalks celery, diced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Wash peas and put in 6-quart pot.
Add 6 cups water and 2 onions.
Cook on low heat for 45 minutes.
Add carrots and celery. Cook for an additional 30 minutes on low heat, continuing to be sure it remains boiling.
