French Hot Chocolate
French Hot Chocolate is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sq. unsweetened baking chocolate, broken or chopped, 3 oz. (3 sq.) bittersweet or semi-chocolate, broken or chopped, 1/2 c. granulated sugar, 2 1/2 c. milk and 2 c. light cream, or half and half, or heavy whipping cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Combine the chocolates, sugar, milk and cream in a saucepan over medium heat.
Stir frequently with a wire whisk or wooden spoon until the chocolate melts and the sugar dissolves.
Heat until just under the boiling point.
Remove from the heat and beat in a blender or with a rotary beater until smooth and frothy.
Add the vanilla and serve hot.
