Finnish Pulla Bread
Finnish Pulla Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. milk, 2 tbsp. active dry yeast, 2 eggs, 1 1/2 tsp. salt and 2 c. gluten flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Scald milk, then cool until warm.
Dissolve in yeast.
Add beaten eggs.
Add salt and 1 cup gluten flour.
Beat well.
Add melted butter and then add rest of gluten flour.
Beat well.
Add sugar, cardamon and raisins; knead 2 cups of white flour into dough.
Add more if necessary.
Should be soft.
Knead 20 minutes. Divide and make 2 braids.
Let rise on floured cookie sheets 1 1/2 hours until doubled in size.
Glaze with beaten eggs and raw sugar. Bake 20 minutes at 400Β°.
