Fennel Au Gratin
Fennel Au Gratin is an easy dinner. Made with 6 small fennel bulbs (about 2 lb.), halved, salt and freshly ground pepper, 1 c. chicken broth, 1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese and 3 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Preheat the oven to 400Β°.
Butter a 9 x 12-inch baking dish. Blanch the fennel for 12 to 15 minutes and drain.
Arrange cut side up in the baking dish.
Season to taste and pour the chicken broth over.
Sprinkle with the cheese.
Dot with butter and bake in the upper third of the oven for half an hour or until the top is golden.
