Farm Chicken
Farm Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. olive oil, 1 chicken, cut into 8 pieces, 1 large green pepper, diced, 1 large onion, diced and 2 cloves garlic, crushed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Heat olive oil in large skillet.
Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
Brown both sides in heated oil.
Remove chicken and set aside.
Add green pepper, onion and garlic to skillet; cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Return chicken to pan; cover and cook on medium-low for approximately 45 to 50 minutes, stirring often.
Gently stir in frozen peas; cook for another 5 minutes. Serve with potatoes, rice or noodles.
If too dry, add chicken broth.
Serves 4.
