Dijon Loaf
Dijon Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. flour, 2 tbsp. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2 pkg. rapidrise yeast and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Set aside 1 cup flour.
Mix remaining flour, sugar, salt and yeast.
Heat mustard and butter to 130°. Stir in flour mixture.
Stir in enough of the reserved flour to make a soft dough.
Knead 4 minutes.
Roll out dough to 1/4-inch.
Sprinkle with ham, cheese and pickles.
Fold in half and press edges.
Place on a greased baking sheet and let rise 15 minutes.
Brush with egg and bake at 375° until golden.
