Deer Jerky
Deer Jerky is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soy sauce, 1/4 c. worcestershire sauce, 1 c. brown sugar, 1 tbsp. accent and 1 tsp. garlic powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Soak meat in sauce overnight.
Cut meat into lean, 3/8-inch wide strips, 6 inches long.
Remove all fat so it will not turn rancid.
Cut meat with the grain.
Soak all night.
Salt and pepper one side only.
Place toothpick through end of strip and hang from top oven rack with foil on bottom rack.
Set oven at lowest setting.
Leave door ajar to let moisture out.
Leave meat in 10 to 12 hours, until meat is dark and no moisture.
