Danish Puff
Danish Puff is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. flour, 1/2 c. butter or oleo, 3 tbsp. water, another 1/2 c. butter and 1 c. boiling water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cut 1 cup flour and 1/2 cup butter together as for pie crust. Stir in 3 tablespoons water with a fork to form a soft dough. Divide dough in half and form into 2 oblongs about 4 inches wide and as long as a cookie sheet.
Use fingers to pat dough into shape.
Melt 1/2 cup butter in 1 cup boiling water.
Remove from heat and immediately add almond flavoring and 1 cup flour all at once.
Stir until dough leaves sides of kettle.
Put in small mixing bowl and beat in eggs, one at a time.
Spread on the 2 oblongs and bake about 50 minutes in a 350Β° oven.
While warm, frost puff with Toasted Coconut Icing.
