Creamy Potato Soup
Creamy Potato Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 medium potatoes, pared and cut in small pieces, 1 medium onion, chopped, 1 c. celery, chopped, 3 c. water and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Cook potatoes, onion and celery in water until tender.
Add seasonings and 2 1/2 cups milk. Blend flour with remaining 1/2 cup milk until smooth. Add to potato mixture and bring to boiling point.
Cook about 5 minutes.
Blend in sour cream and butter. Add ham.
Heat thoroughly and serve immediately.
Yields 6 servings.
