Cream Caramels
Cream Caramels is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 3/4 c. light corn syrup, 1/2 c. butter, 2 c. cream, divided and 1/2 c. broken nuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Bring sugar, corn syrup, butter and 1 cup cream slowly to a boil, stirring constantly.
Stir in gradually 1 more cup cream. Stir frequently as mixture begins to thicken, constantly as it darkens.
Cook to 254Β° (a little dropped into cold water forms a hard ball).
Pour into buttered 7-inch square pan with 1/2 cup broken nuts scattered over the bottom.
When cold, cut into squares.
Makes 5 dozen caramels.
