Spread rice in a 3-quart shallow baking dish and bake at 375° for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden.
Combine salad dressing and mix with 2 1/2-cups boiling water and chicken soup, then stir into rice.
Cut game hens in half lengthwise; season, if you wish, with salt and pepper.
Place game hens, cut side down, on top of rice.
Cover dish tightly with foil.
Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
Uncover; bake 30 minutes longer or until rice and hens are tender.
