Cornbread-Sausage Stuffing With Apples is an moderately easy dinner. Saute chopped onions in 1 cup apple cider; cook partially covered until tender and lightly colored, about 25 minutes. Transfer onions and cider to large mixing bowl.
Cook apple chunks in 1 cup apple cider on high heat, stirring until lightly colored but not mushy.
Transfer apples and 1/2 of the juice to the mixing bowl.
Crumble ground turkey into the skillet with the other 1/2 of the apple juice.
Stir in 2 teaspoons of sage and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until done.
Add remaining ingredients to the ingredients in the mixing bowl and combine gently.
Cool completely before stuffing the bird; refrigerate if not used promptly.
