Corn Okra Creole Dish
Corn Okra Creole Dish is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. chopped green pepper, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 3 tbsp. vegetable oil, 2 c. fresh or frozen corn or 1 (17 oz.) can whole kernel corn and 1 1/2 c. fresh sliced okra or 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen okra, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Saute pepper and onion in oil for 5 minutes.
Add corn and okra; cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, thyme, salt, pepper and Tabasco.
Mix thoroughly.
Cover and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
