Confectioners Sugar Pound Cake
Confectioners Sugar Pound Cake is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. butter, softened, 1 lb. confectioners sugar, sifted, 6 eggs (fresh), 1 tsp. vanilla and 2 3/4 c. sifted cake flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

In a large bowl, beat the butter until creamy. Gradually beat in sugar, beating well after each addition, until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Beat in vanilla.
Gradually and gently stir in flour, blending just until incorporated. (Do not overmix.) Turn into a well buttered and lightly floured 3-quart fluted or plain pan.
Bake in preheated 300Β° oven for 1 1/2 hours or until pick inserted comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes in pan. Turn on rack to cool. Sprinkle cooled cake with confectioners sugar. Freezes well.
