Coconut Bundt Cake

Separate whites bowl with yolks in another bowl.
Let egg whites warm to room temperature about 1 hour.
Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan. Beat egg yolks and shortening and margarine until well-blended.
Gradually add sugar, beating light and fluffy.
Add extract and beat.
Beat in flour fourths and alternate milk in thirds.
End with flour. Add coconut.
Beat in egg whites in peaks and fold in. Bake 2 hours at 300Β°.
Cool 15 minutes.
