Classic Alfredo
Classic Alfredo is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. fettucine, 8 oz. cream cheese, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 3/4 c. parmesan cheese and 1/2 c. heavy or whipping cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Cook fettucine according to package directions; drain. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt butter or margarine over medium heat.
Stir in heavy cream and milk.
Gradually stir in cream cheese, then Parmesan cheese until well blended.
Stir in parsley.
In small pan, cook scallops and add to sauce.
Pour over hot fettucine.
Serves 6.
