Chocolate Fudge
Chocolate Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1/4 c. cocoa, 2 tbsp. water, 2/3 c. evaporated milk and 3 tbsp. white karo syrup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Combine all ingredients in a heavy, 2-quart saucepan.
Heat slowly while stirring until all sugar is melted.
Continue to cook, stirring, over medium heat until a firm ball forms in cold water or 234Β° on candy thermometer.
Mixture must be cooked slowly and stirring constantly to avoid overcooking.
Remove from heat.
Add a small pinch of soda, 2 teaspoons of vanilla and pecans.
Beat at high speed until ready to pour into a 7 x 11-inch buttered pan.
Allow to cool.
Cut into squares.
