Cheesy Fish Fillets
Cheesy Fish Fillets is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. fresh or frozen fish fillets, 2 tbsp. margarine or butter, melted, 2 tbsp. catsup, 1 tsp. salad dressing or mayonnaise and 2 tsp. sweet pickle relish, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Thaw fish, if frozen.
Separate into 4 serving size pieces. Arrange fish in single layer on greased unheated rack of broiler pan in a greased baking pan.
Tuck under any thin edges.
Brush half the melted margarine or butter over fish.
Season with 1/2 teaspoon salt and dash of pepper.
Broil fish 4-inches from heat for 5 minutes.
Brush with remaining melted margarine or butter.
Broil 5 to 8 minutes longer or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
Combine catsup, salad dressing or mayonnaise, pickle relish and mustard.
Spoon atop fillets. Sprinkle with cheese and broil 2 minutes more.
