Melt margarine and stir in flour smoothly.
Add milk and stir until thickened.
Stir in the cheese and cook, stirring constantly, until cheese is melted.

Beat in egg yolks.
Fold in egg whites.
Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart soufflé dish.
Bake in a 375° oven until soufflé is puffed and brown (30 to 35 minutes).
