Chafing Dish Mushrooms
Chafing Dish Mushrooms is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 1 1/2 lb. large mushrooms, stems removed, 1 medium onion, chopped, 2 tsp. garlic salt and 1 c. sour cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Melt butter in electric skillet at 250Β°.
Add mushrooms caps, round side up.
Sprinkle garlic salt over mushrooms until completely covered (additional garlic salt may be needed); add onions, cover, leaving vent open.
Simmer 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the size of the mushrooms.
Stir once.
Drain butter. Fold in sour cream and sprinkle with paprika.
(The butter can be used to saute the mushroom stems.)
