Celery Casserole
Celery Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. celery, cooked, 1/4 c. celery liquid, 1/4 c. flour, 2 slices bread and 1 1/4 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Cook diced celery until tender; drain.
Make white sauce from milk and liquid drained from celery, butter, flour and salt.
Melt butter in pan; add bread which has been shredded in small pieces. Stir until coated with butter.
Mix celery with white sauce.
Put in greased casserole and sprinkle buttered bread on top.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 to 40 minutes or until bubbly and brown.
