πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³ Instructions

Wash and thinly slice tomatoes.

Open and slice the wheat rolls or bread in half and place them on the top of a broiler or jelly roll pan.

Place one slice of cheese on the top of each roll half. Place one slice of tomato on top of the cheese and salt and pepper each slice of tomato lightly.

Place one slice of precooked bacon on top of the tomato slice.

Place the open-faced sandwiches on the top shelf of the oven and set both dials on the stovetop to broil. (To broil, place the pan on the very top shelf of the oven, set the two stovetop dials on broil, and be sure to leave the door cracked open when broiling.)

Broil the sandwiches until the bacon is crisp and the cheese is melted.

Place the half sandwiches on a serving plate on the serving table.
