Braised Red Cabbage
Braised Red Cabbage is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 medium red onions, thinly sliced, 3 tbsp. oil, 2 large cloves garlic, 1 small head red cabbage, quartered, cored and shredded and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Saute onions in oil.
Add garlic when onion is tender.
Fold cabbage into onions, along with all other ingredients.
Cover saucepan and boil 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until cabbage is just tender.
Add a little more broth or water, if liquid evaporates before cabbage is done.
Toss with parsley and serve.
