Pound steak well on both sides with flour, salt and pepper. Cut into 4-inch squares.

Place about 1 tablespoon filling on each square.

Roll and bind with clean, boiled string or fasten with toothpicks.

Brown in butter in electric skillet.

Add 1/2 cup water and simmer on 280° to 300° for 1 1/2 hours.

Or, after browned, place in buttered baking utensil with water; cover with foil and bake in a 275° to 300° oven for 1 1/2 hours.

Makes 6 to 8 rolls.
