Bertha's Spinach Pie
Bertha'S Spinach Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (8 oz.) pkg. chopped spinach, cooked and drained, 1 large onion, chopped, 1/2 lb. feta cheese, crumbled, 1 (8 oz.) small curd cottage cheese and 1 tbsp. farina, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Combine in mixing bowl the cooked, drained spinach, onion, Feta and cottage cheeses, farina, dill and egg.
Mix well and add olive oil.
Working quickly, brush strudel leaves with melted butter.
Fold in half.
Place a small portion of filling at one end.
Fold like a flag, triangle or individual portion for side dish.
Brush with butter.
Place on greased cookie sheet or pan. Bake at 375Β° for 12 to 15 minutes.
