Beef Tenderloin
Beef Tenderloin is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 lb. beef tenderloin, 3 tbsp. butter, 1/2 c. chopped green onion, 1 c. dry sherry and 3 tbsp. soy sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Spread all but 1 teaspoon butter on beef.
Place on a rack in a roasting pan.
Place, uncovered, in 400Β° oven for 20 minutes. While tenderloin is roasting, saute onion in remaining butter in small saucepan.
Add remaining ingredients.
Heat and pour over meat.
Roast 20 to 25 minutes longer, basting often.
Serve remaining sauce with meat.
Grilled mushrooms may be added to the serving platter.
Serves 12.
