Beef Stroganoff
Beef Stroganoff is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. fresh sliced mushrooms, 1 medium onion, chopped, 1 clove garlic, minced, 2 tbsp. margarine and 1 lb. boneless beef steak (1/2-inch thick), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Combine mushrooms, onion, garlic and margarine in 2 quart casserole and cover.
Microwave at High until tender, 2 to 4 minutes.
Shake beef, flour, salt and pepper in plastic bag until beef is coated.
Stir beef and remaining ingredients except sour cream into vegetable mixture.
Microwave, covered, at High for 5 minutes.
Reduce power to Medium-high (70%).
Microwave until beef is tender, 20 to 30 minutes, stirring after half the cooking time. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes.
Stir in sour cream until blended. Serve over noodles or rice.
