Beef Jerky
Beef Jerky is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. lean flank steak, 1 1/2 tsp. meat tenderizer, 1 1/2 tsp. onion salt, 1/2 tsp. garlic powder and 1/2 bottle liquid smoke, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Partially freeze meat.
Slice thin (with grain for chewy, against grain for tender).
Mix all of the remaining ingredients in bowl.
Throw in meat; marinate 24 hours.
Drain meat.
Arrange slices on your oven rack in single layers.
Put foil on bottom of oven; it's messy!
Leave oven door ajar and bake at 150Β° for 4 to 7 hours.
The longer it is baked, the more brittle.
Put in airtight container and store in fridge.
