Banana Pudding
Banana Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sugar, 2 c. milk, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 medium size box vanilla wafers and 3 eggs, separated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Combine 1/2 cup sugar, flour and salt.
Add milk to slightly beaten egg yolks.
Combine flour mixture and milk mixture.
Cook in top of double boiler until consistency of custard.
Line baking dish with vanilla wafers.
Slice bananas over wafers.
Pour 1/2 the custard over bananas.
Cover with remaining custard.
Beat egg whites with 6 tablespoons sugar.
Beat until stiff.
Pour on top of pudding.
Bake at 425Β° for 5 minutes or until delicately browned.
Serve hot or cold.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
