Banana Nut Bread
Banana Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sifted flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 c. butter or margarine and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Sift flour, salt and baking soda together.
Beat butter with a wooden spoon until light.
Gradually blend in sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating until fluffy after each addition.
Add sifted flour mixture alternately with mixture of mashed banana and soured milk, beating well after each addition.
Fold in chopped walnuts. Pour into a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan and bake at 350Β° for 65 or 75 minutes or until done.
Turn out of pan onto rack; cool several hours before serving.
