Baked Rabbit
Baked Rabbit is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 fryer rabbit (2 to 3 lb.), cut up in serving size pieces, 1 large onion, chopped, 2 bay leaves, 5 to 6 whole cloves and 1/4 tsp. ginger, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Soak rabbit pieces in 1 1/2 tablespoons of salt water to cover for 2 hours.
Rinse, drain and dry.
Roll in flour and brown in the oil and butter.
Add onion and spices.
Cover tightly and bake in a 325Β° oven for 1/2 hour.
Remove from oven.
Turn rabbit pieces. Add chicken bouillon and water.
Return to oven and bake 1 hour or until done.
