Baked Chicken Breasts
Baked Chicken Breasts is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 boned chicken breast halves, 1/4 lb. butter or margarine, 1 c. onion, chopped, 1/4 c. flour and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Brown chicken in butter or margarine; remove from pan and place in casserole dish.
To skillet, add onion and garlic; cook about 5 minutes.
Combine flour, salt, pepper and thyme.
Stir into onion mixture; gradually add chicken broth and bouillon cubes crumbled.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat and add Sauterne.
Pour over chicken in casserole dish.
Bake at 400Β° for 30 minutes, covered.
