Aunt Mag's Caramel Pie

Flour in heavy iron skillet over low heat until it browns, stirring all the time.
Add the milk and stir until and all melted.
Add butter and cool.
Beat the egg yolks they are light and add while stirring. Add vanilla. When cool, stack between three cooked pie crusts like cake filling.
Whites until stiff. Add
8 teaspoons sugar, one at a time.
Add vanilla.
Put on top and brown.
The crusts have no sides, just roll out 9 inches round and bake.
