Apple Cranberry Relish
Apple Cranberry Relish is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. cranberries, 2 medium granny smith apples, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. white wine vinegar and 1 medium spanish onion, diced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Rinse and drain cranberries.
Peel, core and dice apples.
In medium stainless steel saucepan, combine sugar, vinegar, onion and apples. Trim ends from lemon, cut in half crosswise, seed and dice.
Add lemon, cinnamon, mustard seed, cloves and salt to apple mixture.
Place saucepan over medium heat. Bring to simmer.
Lower heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring every few minutes.
Add cranberries and simmer 5 more minutes. Cool and refrigerate. Makes 3 cups.
