Angel Food Cake
Angel Food Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. cake flour, 1 1/2 c. egg whites, 1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar, 3/8 tsp. salt and 1 3/4 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Sift flour once; measure and sift four times more.
Beat egg whites and salt with mixer on low; when foamy white, add cream of tartar and continue to beat on high until stiff peaks form, but not dry.
Fold in sugar carefully, 2 tablespoons at a time, then add flavoring.
Sift small amount of flour at a time into egg mixture until all is used.
Pour batter into an angel food cake pan and bake in slow oven.
Begin at 275° for 30 minutes, then increase to 325° for 30 minutes longer.
