Yorkshire Pudding
Yorkshire Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 heaping tbsp. plain flour, 1 egg, pinch of salt, 1 c. milk and oil (enough to cover bottom of layer cake pan), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix flour, salt and egg in a large bowl.
Add milk gradually. Beat in small amount of cold water; let stand.
Cover bottom of cake layer pan with a little oil and heat in oven until very hot (almost smoking).
Beat flour mixture again and add to oil.
Bake in hot oven at 450° to 500° for about 30 minutes.
Serve hot with roast potatoes and gravy (or you might like it spread with jam).
