Yellow Cake
Yellow Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sifted cake flour, 1 1/3 c. sugar, 1/2 c. crisco, 1 tsp. salt and 2/3 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Measure into mixing bowl the flour, sugar, Crisco, salt and 2/3 cup milk.
Blend by hand or with mixer at medium speed for 2 minutes.
Now stir in baking powder.
Now add eggs, 1/3 cup milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Blend by hand or in mixer at medium speed for 2 minutes until the batter is smooth and thin.
Pour into pans which have been rubbed with Crisco and lined with heavy paper. Bake in two 9-inch round cake pans.
Bake in a preheated 375Β° oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until done.
When cool, frost with chocolate or white icing.
