Yankee Pot Roast
Yankee Pot Roast is an moderately easy dinner. Made with medium size rump roast, salt and pepper, flour, 1 clove garlic, crushed and 1/2 c. red wine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Dust roast with salt, pepper and flour.
Braise all sides of roast in hot stew pot (1 to 2 tablespoons of oil may be added). Add in all the other ingredients, except carrots and noodles. Simmer for at least 3 hours.
Add carrots 1 hour before completion.
Serve over cooked noodles.
(Slow cookers are great; let it cook all day!)
