Mix shortening in hot potatoes.
Mix the rest as usual.
Use 1/3 whole wheat flour.
Let rise until double in size.
Roll out about 3/4-inch thick.
Cut like doughnuts, without the hole, or shape into balls.
Let rise until double in size.
Bake at 350Β° until done.
Can also be made in sticky buns.
