Whole Wheat Dinner Muffins
Whole Wheat Dinner Muffins is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. each all-purpose flour and whole wheat flour, 1/4 c. wheat germ, 1 tbsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
In a large bowl, mix all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, wheat germ, baking powder and salt until blended.
Make a well in center.
In another bowl, lightly beat egg.
Stir in butter, sugar and milk.
Pour all at once into flour well and stir just until dry ingredients are evenly moistened.
Spoon batter into greased 2 1/2-inch muffin cups, filling 2/3 full.
Bake in a 350Β° oven until muffins are well browned and tops spring back when touched (about 25 minutes).
Makes 1 dozen.
