Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.
Cream butter; add sugar and vanilla.
Add egg yolks and melted chocolate. Alternate the flour, buttermilk, nuts and coconut.
Fold in beaten egg whites.
Bake in three 9-inch pans or oblong pan at 350Β° for about 45 minutes or until done.
Ice with Cream Cheese Frosting.
