Beat the egg whites.
In another bowl, beat the egg yolks. Add the sugar and beat well.
Add the corn meal, milk and flour. Add the melted butter, beaten egg whites, baking powder and salt. Pour into a greased tin pan.
Bake in a 450Β° oven until golden brown.
Serves 4 to 6.
